At the end of last year, when we last updated this website and announced the postponement of SMiRT 26 to July 10 through 15, 2022 we also indicated a renewed preparation timeline. Herewith, we would like to inform you that we are taking the next step in organizing our anniversary in-person conference in Berlin/Potsdam.
The Fifteenth International Congress on Artificial Materials for Novel Wave Phenomena – Metamaterials 2021, will comprise a 4-day Conference (August 2-5), and a 2-day Doctoral School (August 6-7).
Conference Objective and Philosophical Framework
The International Conference on Sustainable Development is organized by the European Center of Sustainable Development in collaboration with CIT University.
The 9th ICSD 2021 is inspired by the critical challenge of human, environmental, and economic sustainability concerning the present and future generations in a global-scale context.
The Conference theme is:
"Creating a unified foundation for the Sustainable Development: research, practice, and education".
Dear Distinguished Colleagues,
In the light of the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, we now keep our hopes with vaccines to get back to normal in 2021, while we recognize that the pandemic would affect international travels and more importantly the health of our delegates and the communities we live in. Therefore, hybrid presentation options are to be considered whenever necessary.
At present we intend to host the conference according to COVID-secure guidelines onsite in Palma, Mallorca to best facilitate in-person networking and learning.
However, as the future situation regarding international travel remains uncertain, we have the option to switch to our fully interactive online conference platform should the need arise.
Mersin is a cultural heritage accumulated in 6 thousand years where Saint Paulus, the first Apostle of Christ, was born in. Yumuktepe tumulus, located at the center of Mersin, have shown that the city was first built 9 thousand years ago.
